No poop for 2 days

DD, not me. Is this a problem? She's 11 days old and getting about 40% breastmilk. Until now they've been seedy yellow, but last one I recall was brown and slimy.

Well, end of problem. she made up for it today while having her newborn photo session ..... she was naked and in my arms. It was a big one, and I had no spare shirt with me. Now I'll have a story to tell her whenever we look at the pics!!

Oh my!

It's funny, I was just reading by Dr. Sears book and when I read about frequency of poops, I remembered your post earlier today. He said before 2 months, infrequent stooling can be a sign of not enough milk, but that that's not always the case...apparently your little one is just a poop storer from an early age, LOL!

Yikes!! They always have the best timing, don't they? I am still amazed that I've managed to bathe with dd1 (and now dd2) poop-free so far (except for the one time dh forgot to look in dd1's diaper before he set her in the water ).

Yes, but I used a bunch of wipes and we just kept going. But I kept smelling poop for the next hour... it was worth it and I can't wait to see the pics just judging from the poses and expressions she had!

That's motherhood... and you're right; it's going to make a great story when she's older.

Ha! Of course she picked that moment to poop! Isn't it funny how poop, spitup, and all other bodily fluids just don't phase you anymore? Your first thought was probably "Oh thank God!" when she pooped all over you, vs. "Oh how gross."

I'd forgotten how "nice" the newborn poops are. I've been so used to my toddler's diapers that DD's are a nice switch.

I was taking pictures of a friend's son when he started to poop ... all over the blanket I was using as a backdrop. She quickly stuck out her hand and caught it all, without blinking an eye .
