For a long time now I have been baffled by the message "not intended for infant sleepwear" stitched onto the selvage of most fabrics. Just what does this mean? I suspect that it means that this fabric is not treated with chemical flame retardants, and if that's the case then I DO want to use it for sleepwear. (I really hate that all the pajamas sold at stores have chemical residues,
