Those washcloths are lovely! I'm so excited about my knit headscarves!

And totally OT, but may I have some sympathy and hugs? I posted this in the BF forum, but nobody replied! Sniffle. I guess they just don't know me there! But man I feel like death!

Oh dear, I'm so sorry! My good friend here was just in the hospital with a breast infection. Such a horrible pain. Do take care of yourself.

I'm here! Glad we're back!

I mostly a bead designer, but that works it's way into making jewelry of course!

I also crochet and do some knitting - mostly without patterns, they make my head spin.

I do some scrapbooking and card making and other assorted paper crafts.

My latest addition is felting...why have I never done this before...I'm seriously thinking CHRISTMAS!!!

oh Raj...I'm so sorry! When DD was born and held hostage in the NICU we ended up with seriously major latch issues...I ended up with Mastitis twice! I was hospitalized the second time.

Nurse as much as you can, pump if you can, rest as much as you can and maybe try some hot compresses!

pump as much as possible when lo isn't nursing! Soak in a hot tub with hot wash cloths on them. Drop a little lavender in the tub too.
Baths are my cure all

thanks for the picture and the compliments on the washclothes! Grace, which did you like best? I think the coffee cup one is upside down in the picture! But it's cool cause you can see the design on both sides.

for the 3 year old b.day gift I recommend play food!

I like the blue one. I believe it's a sheep, but it looks so much like my dog I'm calling it canine.

I like to knit, crochet, sew, quilt, and try to make jewelry. I love to paint, draw, cook, scrapbook, and am an avid lover of photography. I love all things crafty and love just about anything DIY.

Welcome to mdc, greenmama!

yes it's a sheep! what kind of dog do you have?

as for which is easier, I hear many people say crochet is easier, but for me, knitting is!

1. My sheep looking dog.

2. What did you all craft this weekend? I made some fab bath melts and finished some photo cards.

3. Did everyone get the Jo-Ann's coupons in their email today? Plans for them?

Oh, also: I made granola w/ Kat's recipe this weekend, and it is SO good. The only adjustments I made were using 3 1/4 rather than 4 cups of oats (because that's all I had) and dried berry medley from TJ's instead of dried cherries. So so good. Make it!

Cute doggie!

This weekend I made another felted purse and 2 kerchiefs...I think I love them and they kinda work on me!

I think I got the coupons...I got an e-mail but haven't opened it yet...

I NEED WOOL!! Must feed this felting obsession...I might go down to goodwill this afternoon to find a few sweaters to unravel in the meantime!

I do have a sweater that should be dry by this afternoon that I am going to cut up and see about sewing a purse!

We did nothing crafty this weekend--still dealing with house craziness and we had an ambulance transfer to the ER for food poisoning because, you know, our lives have been so BORING of late!--but I have a tie-dye date with Small Friend O on Saturday and plan to get a bunch of stuff done then.

Thanks for the nice words re: Leo. We have two dogs, and I love them both beyond reason, but I really believe Leo is my canine soul mate. I don't think I've ever met a creature who makes me feel as calm and peaceful and wonderful as that dog does.

In less peaceful and wonderful news, I just spent $60 I didn't really have to spend at Joann's. Gah.
