Where to buy coconut oil?

I posted in the coconut oil thread, but where do you find this? Where I live, selection is very limited. TIA!

I've found it at a local grocery (in the health food isle) which is part of the Kroger's chain of markets.

I found Extra Virgin coconut oil in the vitamin aisle at WalMart. I know, I hate WM too, but my selection is also limited.

I have bought my CO at grocery stores but it is very expensive this way. You can order online at Mountain Rose Herbs and they have good pricing. I got a gallon (128oz) for $30 as opposed to buying a little 12oz jar for $9. Of course that is a good deal if you use it a lot. I use it for everything so it's a good deal for me.

Update: They are out of stock on the natural oil, but have refined oil, still.

I've gotten it from Tropical Traditions when it was on sale, but I don't think it was as low as $30/gal. I like the quality of Tropical Traditions products, but I also like Mountain Rose Herbs. I'll try their coconut oil as soon as I run out of what I have.

ETA: WOW! MRH has 1 gallon of coconut oil for $21 right now!

I love the tropical traditions. I also like nutiva. The TT gold label seems to be the best tasting one around, though

the Mountain Rose Herbs is a fantastic price and amazing quality. it's the best i've ever tried, hands down. i'm about halfway through the second gallon i've bought from them. and even with shipping the price is cheaper than ordering a lesser amount through frontier.
