Baby babble...

Orion is just babbling away these days trying out new sounds...it's the most wonderful sound in the world...and he's grinning a lot....and flirting.

This is too much fun to be legal!

Aww, don't you just love those gurgles and coos? So far my DD has just said, "Ahh," but to me it's the sweetest sound in the world.

oh, i know! isn't the coolest thing - one of my favorite things about babyhood. the other night when DH was giving the baby a bath she was talking up a storm, and it was extra adorable because he was acting as if they were having a little conversation... "are you ready for me to scrub your head now?" "gurgle, coo, aaaaahhh" "oh, OK, then - we can do your feet first." it was seriously the cutest thing ever.

Lizzie is talking now too, it's so cute. She's very quiet about it thought and only "talks" to certain people. She a super smiley girl too, I love it!

Meghan isn't so very verbal. She coos and says "Gahhh" on occasion.

Charlie just started cooing this week. It is really cute. He found his fist too and has been munching away at it. I just love babyhood .

Gus is a "talker"! He carries on all the time and I just eat it up.

We do this all the time! I get so wrapped up in what he'll "say" next... Time just gets away.

Raina isn't the biggest babbler in the world, but at least a few times a day I can get some gurlges and cooing out of her, and she lets out lots of happy sighs while she's sleeping.

I love this stage, too! DS coos, goos, boos, maaas, brrrs, ahhhs, gurgles, sticks out his tongue, and makes spit bubbles. He even started laughing this week!

when does this start? my babe is 6 weeks and still grunts, and some reactive smiles. she's quiet in general tho.

Trevor is SUCH a talker!! Has been pretty much since birth, it cracks me up He also just started smiling back at us like last week

My little dude is such a FLIRT. Cracks me up. Grins, flails and kicks, cackles like it's the most hilarious thing on earth. We've mastered "nnnGUH!", "ooooooh!", "heeeya!", "hurrp" and a variety of interspersed clicks that sound a bit like the !kung language, lol. He has a very distinct sound he makes when he is done nursing, does not want to sleep and wants to get up to play. If he makes that at 5 am I know there's no hope, I just get up with him.

My older kids just love making Christian smile and babble. They already interpret what he's "saying." To them, he already has said "glad," "good," "love" and "agua." LOL!

I can't wait for the laughing! He almost did it the other day. Kinda "heh heh." Have you ever watched the baby belly laugh montages on YouTube? LOVE IT!

it's. SO. much. frigging. fun!!!

this one i have here is a big time grunter. he's always doing sign language, and making these intensely expressive faces, from full-face grins, to full face scowls (think, full drawn brows like Ice Cube ) and his 'words' are things like uuurrhrl and oooaarhh and gneeiih.

we're having a ball!
