Gosh reading this forum is always a bit intense for me. But I felt like a little celebration might be good. My son is intact as is his father. My father and my DH's fathers are/were also intact, tho' the reason in both our families was "there wasn't enough money for the surgery." Interesting. Anyone else heard this reason for a noncircumcised american male??
And btw I just am so glad this was never even an option for me, not to belittle in any way other mothers but omg it is intense.

I have heard people say that girls are cheaper because it costs so much to circ a boy.

I'm glad you have an intact family! My dh is, as are our boys. We seem to be freaks in this area though.

My sister's ex-dh's best friend's father was left intact because his parents were very poor and couldn't afford it. Unfortunately his son (sister's ex's bf) was circed before they adopted him. But the father made sure his son knew that circumcision was unnecessary ect and his grandsons are intact.
Which leads me to my oldest nephew (sister and her ex's child) who is also intact in large part due to that father. My youngest nephew is also intact as are my two sons.

Hmm, our little family unit is intact (DH, DS and myself). MIL told me that she had planned on getting DH circ'd in the hospital but when she heard the other baby boys screaming she decided not to ( mother's instinct).
She still got charged for one though:

Elvis was left intact because it was too expensive

Everyone in my little family is intact as well! My brothers and my dad aren't, but my husband and daughters are

my DP is the ONLY one who isn't intact .
HIS FATHER is...
My father, brothers and all of our boys...all ARE INTACT = 9 in this family!!!!
