I went to the ER the other night for a EKG and was diagnosed with heart palpitations also. Is this a pg thing? Never had it with my first pregnancy. Sorry to hear you're feeling icky, momma. hugs!

Inshallah you'll be better soon.
I had heart palps with my last pregnancy, but I have mitral valve prolapse.

I also have heart palps. One of the first signs that I was preggers was when I was sitting in a lecture and thought I was having a mini heart attack. Really. It was horrible. I hope you feel better soon! I am still hoping this is a first trimester thing

I'm not feeling much better. I've been playing phone tag with my MW all day - she's been attending births so it's hard for her to call me back...

I did some googling and apparently palps are common in pregnancy. I didn't have anything like this last time around! I so hope this gets better, this is worse than nausea I think. And I hate nausea. Hate it.

Worst part is that this seems to happen only after I eat. I thought it was reactions to certain foods (which has happened before) but now it's after I eat *anything*. Like I need more reasons not to eat, I already have the nausea reminding me to eat.

I wish I had some suggestion for you!

Talked to my mw who referred me to the doc who doesnt think this is typical pregnancy stuff. So, we're doing blood tests and will see how it'll go.

Bleh.

Are you feeling any better today?
I'm sorry to see you're doing poorly. I had that once early in this pregnancy, along with just a general exhausted feeling, and have a had a few days where I felt I was headed in that direction. I've found that really listening to my body and slowing down when this happened helped a lot. It took laying on the couch/in bed all day (as much as possible), though, and it wasn't until the next day that I felt better.

Hope this lets up for you quickly!

Hope it goes away soon, and you feel better!

I have heart problems with pregnancy, too. You have my sympathies! They feel awful Mix in all the rest and yeah... If it helps, mine went away around 6 months last time (and mine were a pre-existing condition, and it disappeared until this pregnancy has brought them back). Sometimes coughing can help the feeling--a short, hard cough.

Ok did better today..

It seems to be connected with eating so the doc and I decided that eating just a few bites here and there would not be an unreasonable way to deal.

I had the palps happen again but not nearly so drastic as after a big meal. So maybe this is the way to go?

Still, it stresses me out to think about eatinng too much. We'll see how it goes. I put my hope were it's appropriate.

Happy to hear that you've gotten some relief. Inshallah the palps will be totally gone soon.
