reusable bags

My co-op just did a bulk purchase of reusable bags. I bought 3, and used them for the first time today. I loved them! I got some comments from other shoppers, too, although the clerk didn't seem terribly impressed. I think she likes the store's own reusable bags better.

Here is what I got: www.chicobag.com

I just got 12 of these same bags through a co-op. I haven't been shopping to use them yet though. I plan to go shopping this weekend and can't wait to whip them out!

Reusable bags

I always use large Canvas and Burlap bags for groceries. Instead of carrying 10 plastic bags, I Just have to carry one or two of these bags. I leave a bag in the trunk of my car too.

On my son's b'day I got these bio degradable pouch bags from www.greenaura.com, instead of regular plastic goodie bags. I personalised the bags with fabric markers.

Kids loved it!! The bags were cheap and the shipping free!!!

I have 3 and I used them all yesterday, plus two canvas-type bags I have. I think I'm going to get at least 3 more chicobags. I like how they stuff up so small, and hold so much. They seem to be very sturdy.

I have six chicobags (and other random store brand bags) and I use them every week. It takes me 4 bags for a weeks worth of food. I use all six if I'm buying a lot of extras (you know, those good sales!). The others are backups that I leave in my car. It's soooo nice to only use 4-6 reusable bags vs. the 20 something plastic bags they'll give me otherwise.
