i like ds's ped

not sure if this is the right forum but ds's ped is nice. he always says really nice things to me about my nursing ds which is a bit surprising considering their practice gives out formula samples and plays disney/pixar movies in the waiting room...

today ds had his checkup and his ped said, "are you still nursing exclusively?" and i said yes and he said, "that's great! and he is growing really well so obviously he is getting enough!" he has made similar nice comments in the past. and he also mentioned delaying solids until 6 months which was my plan anyway so thats good.

plus he's kinda cute.

Our ped office is really supportive of breastfeeding as well. In fact, they have an LC on staff and the first visit for moms/newborns is a week after birth with her, whether you're breastfeeding or formula feeding. They've been pretty impressed that both of my kids gained three pounds in their first month and always tell me to keep up the good work.

Yay for the good stories about doctors!!! ours is great too! He always says how healthy DS looks, and really gives me a lot of encouragement!

Not sure what Disney has to do with nursing v. formula. Am I missing something?
