I was eating at the Olive Garden this weekend, a waitress commented on how cute and chunky my baby is. She asked if he is eating solids yet and I said that we've tried them, but he doesn't eat them that much and she said "Oh so you are still breastfeeding, that's great, that's all they need anyway for the first year." I didn't even mention I was breastfeeding and he ate before we got there so she didn't see me feeding him. I thought it was cool she just assumed he was breastfeed.
Yay!
Oh and I hear all these bad nurse stories but at my doctors appt yesterday the nurse there was commenting on what a cute chunk my baby is... she said her baby was a chunk too and how much she loved breastfeeding... I know she can look at our chart and see that we are breastfeeding, but I like how enthused she was about it.
