Question for your 2,3 or 4 year old who is familiar with Sesame Street..fun! - Page 2

Wow, is that part of your job? Cool! Ds is asleep but I'll ask him tomorrow

2 1/2 yr olds (33 months)
one said bunny repeatedly, but said cookie monster correctly.
he also immediately said elmo for the green pics.

the other said bunny then overheard his brother saying "elmo pretending to be a bunny" so then he laughed and repeated that.
he thought the green elmo was grover.

(they could both name all the others)

My 4 year old said it was elmo and that he was "turned into a rabbit by she" pointing to the girl with the magic wand!

I was skeptical, but I guess he's right : )

My almost 2 year old is sleeping but I want to ask him tomorrow to see what he says. I think it may be easy for the kids that watch Elmo's World consistently to figure out it is Elmo because in Elmo's World, Dorothy (the fish) is always "imagining" Elmo is something else. Therefore the kids are used to seeing Elmo "transformed". Hopefully my theory proves to be true when my lo sees the pic tomorrow. What a neat job you have!

23 Mo DD says elmo, abby and cookies pointing to the cookies.

Alright. My almost 2 year old (June 21 he'll be 2) said "melmo" as soon as it appeared. He gets Abby & Zoe confused and calls Abby Zoe, but always knows when it's Zoe. This time he noticed Zoe after he saw Abby & went back & corrected himself & said Abby. He says "Grover" for both Cookie Monster & Grover (but he always does that). But the picture was definitely a clear "Melmo".

My almost-3 y-o said Elmo immediately. But then again, she called the other characters "Elmo" too. She doesn't know Abby, I don't think.

2.5 y/o dd said its Elmo as a bunny. Then Cookie monster as a kitty. She knew the other characters, too.
