I'm wanting to order some things online...anyone have good deals on brown rice tinkyada pasta, ghee, and larabars? I figured if anyone knows, it'd be you-all, lol.

I don't know of any great online food deals (when you consider shipping it might be cheaper just to go to a local hfs, if you have one). But, I thought I'd throw out there that Trader Joe's rice pasta is supposedly made by the Tinkyada people and it's cheaper under TJs label than it is under Tinkyada.

I like to check out Amazon for food deals, though. Their prices aren't always the best, but you can usually find some deals. I got a 4-ct of Spectrum palmshortening for less than I would have at the hfs.

I buy my spectrum shortening at Amazon too (free shipping), also my coconut oil, coconut flour, and flaked coconut. You have to buy in bulk with them, but if you're going to be on a "special" diet for a while, it's worth it.

I buy my rice pasta at an Asian market because it's so much cheaper though now that DS tested positive for rice, I need to look into corn pasta (but only for him since DD is positive for corn). I use allergygrocer.com for things that I can't find anywhere else.

Thanks, guys! I do have a small hfs, but they are out there in pricing-crazy high. I think I'll wait for a trip to the big city, lol...
