Globe Suggestions?

Thread Starter
My little guy is fascinated with maps and globes and I'd like to get him a globe to capitalize on his interest. He's young, only 2, and I've considered the Montessori globes, but they are $$ and I'm afraid he'll get bored with them quickly. Any suggestions for a globe that is quasi-age appropriate but still has some detail on it. (and ideally not "talking")

thanks!

You can get a basic globe at Walmart or Target for 15 dollars. They are perfectly fine and you don't have to worry about your little one handling it rough because it was cheap. We actually took our off the stand and have it hanging so we can put push pins in it when we study places.

Ditto the previous poster! I got our globe on clearance for $12 at Target. It's sturdy, and has held up to a lot of abuse, mostly the kids spinning it to find out where they are going to send their siblings .
