I'm looking for homeschoolers in and around DC.
I've posted in the tribe area, btw, but am sure that there are more homeschoolers here than might check there.
DH has accepted a job in Bethesda (office soon to move near the Hill), so we'll be moving from our central Indiana home in just a few weeks.
Is there such a thing as a place where there are *more* homeschoolers and *less* homeschoolers?
We unschool, btw, and am excited to explore all that DC has to offer. My almost 5yo is more excited about riding the Metro than anything -- but the almost 9yo is all about the Smithsonian adventure.
We're thinking of trying to find a suitable place to rent nearer to Bethesda for the first year and then moving wherever it best suits our needs and budget when the office moves...
I'd love to already know some home/unschooling families with whom we could meet up so that my boys have some friends to look forward to.
TIA,
