Help me with my mop bucket

My floors are SOOOO skuzzy and gross feeling, even though I scrub (as in on my hands and knees almost daily...seriously).

I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong with what I'm putting in my mop bucket.

I have a 1 or 2 gallon bucket (not sure, it's not wrote on there) I fill it up to the line with hot water and then add somewhere between half a cup and a full cup of vinegar...nothing else.

It dries and feels nice and then within a few hours it feels skuzzy.

HELP!!!

I don't want to go back to pine sol.

Do you have your A/C on?

I know the days ours isn't on, my kitchen floor feels, almost sticky. I know it's clean (well fairly clean) but I think it's just the way my floor is.

Otherwise, maybe try less water or adding more vinegar?

I'd experiment with the concentration of vinegar in water. Try it with less vinegar and see if that works, or try it with more.

What was your routine when you used to use pine sol? Did you rinse afterwards or let it sit on the wood? You might need to use some kind of soap that rinses off once in a while, or moisturize/oil the floor occasionally, then use the vinegar water for regular cleanings in between "deep cleanings" and/or "moisturizing."

Its linoliom (or however it's spelled).

With the pine sol I just let it set, same with the vinegar.

Hmmmm

I have the same problem, except I'm using Nature Clean dish soap on the floor. Sometimes I add vinegar, sometimes I don't. (I used to just use vinegar, and found the floor just didn't get clean. It needs soap to lift the dirt.)
