dd had a little cut on her shin from tripping up into the front door over and over again. it had about a 1cm wide scab over it for awhile since she kept re-injuring the same spot. i didnt think anything of it until i noticed this morning that the scab finally came off on its own and it looks like the spot is completely white, while the rest of her skin is reletively dark.
im as white as casper himself so i certainly have no idea about darker skin.....is there something that i should have done or should do to make sure it heals better? or is it just one of those things (or hopefully it will turn dark again)??
sorry im so clueless....and if this is the wrong place sorry too, i didnt know who else to ask
i felt like it was certainly a multicultural problem (for us anyway!)

it is just how the scars are it is fine dont worry... i could give you enough pics if you want proof it is normal all i have to do is call over one of my dc and start taking pics. they will fade and come darker with time. as us as white skinned ours will be scab, red, pink and then back to our normal skin color. the only thing i say to do is keep the skin soft not dry. i love tea tree oil for scraches, scabs for umm everything else.
