Which Formula / foods for ED?

I need a little hand holding if you all don't mind. I'm pretty new to the allergy thing. I'm about to start a serious ED to try to heal my mostly EBF'ed baby's colitis. Problem is I work 3 days a week and have NO BM stored. I only pump about 8 oz / day and that isn't always enough to satisfy her while I'm gone. So I need a formula for back-up. She's currently on Soy so obviously we need to switch. What should I switch to?

While we're at it, which foods should I eliminate in order to see quick results? Already doing dairy free. I'm anxious to see quick results because she's close to 8 months and not gaining weight very well and I'm feeling and also getting lots of pressure to start back on solids ASAP. I had hoped to have things cleared up first.

TIA

I'd switch to an elemental formula (like Neocate, but you need a prescription for it, and it's expensive) if you HAVE to supplement with formula. But since she's 8 months, I'd do solids while you're not there during the day and pump as many times as you can at work (I used to go into the bathroom with my bottle, and hand-express in the cubicle several times a day besides my half-hour lunch break) to increase your milk supply while you're at work. She can also have water during the day while you're at work. I didn't use formula and I was back at work full time 6 weeks after my first was born.

Also, I would take out the top 8 allergens, though it could be any food really. But the top 8 are the most common, so you just might get lucky. It also could be the milk-soy combo since that's very common as well. Of course it means that you're taking it out of your diet as well.

I don't think you need an rx for neocate anymore. Or for Elecare. I'm not sure if you are comfortable doing it, but you can find it much cheaper on criagslist or ebay.

Thanks for the suggestions. I may have to go to E bay or Craigslist. I've been looking and haven't seen the formula's you suggest so far.
