Anyone want to measure their girth? Just for fun?

I'm 38 wks and 44" around the biggest part of the bump.

Is this the same as fundal height? My doc measured it today at my appointment, but I can always grab a measuring tape and see how big my waist is...

Measuring tape says: 41 inches at 37 wks 5 days.

No thanks.

I got to be the pregnancy model at a local spa this past Monday for pics they are doing for their website. Even the photographer, who specializes in maternity, asked if I was having twins! Now I know I am crazy big.

No, just your waist measurement. I put mine in my baby book. I'm curious about how much it will change in the next week or 2...or 4 .

Was it Zenana by chance? My friends gave me a gift certificate for a prenatal massage a couple of days ago. I can't wait to go!

Yeppers! I used to work there in the Children's Room, which is why they knew to call me! Technically, I am still on the backup list, but I am obviously not doing much working right now. You are a lucky duck. I had one there earlier in this pregnancy, but we have not had the extra monies lately. But guess what? I just "met" a woman through the local unschooling group who lives right near me and does pregnancy massage on a very limited part time schedule. She has a reasonable half hour rate, so if there is no baby by Sunday, I think I might see her as she said she could throw some induction type acupressure stuff in! Then again, I am having alot of crazy prodromal stuff, so hopefully I won't make it that far!

38 weeks 50 inch's yes 50 I am huge.

Measured today at 38+3...

My waist measurement is 47" and my fundal height is 43cm. Yikes.

Well let's see. I'm 5'4", typically a size 6 in clothes and wear size small undies. I'm measuring (while standing) 43" straight around the widest part of the tummy - baby is posterior (still - ugh).

Fundal height is 43cm.
