Metal snaps on cloth diapers?

Has anyone put metal snaps on their diapers? Did you have trouble with rust? I got a snapsetter, and I really like it, but it only does metal snaps. Most of the snap diapers I have seen have had plastic snaps.

I have the snapsetter and so far have had no problems with the metal snaps. I've only been using them for about a month, though.
