GF/CF spices?

Hello! I'm wondering where to find GF/CF spices. I had originally been using Simply Organic spices (namely cinnamon and garlic powder) and was quite disappointed to learn that they are not necessarily gluten free/not from a GF facility (their customer service rep was rather rude/unapologetic about this as well).

Anyway, I'm not a big spice user, but still would love to know if anyone has suggestions on finding GF/CF spices. Oh, by the way, we also used to use Whole Foods organic spices and they have all these potential allergen/cross-contamination warnings all over the label; so they're out.

I'd love any suggestions! THANKS!

I've never even thought about cross contamination issues on spices. I've used them without a problem with my two dairy-free kids. Now that one is wheat-free too, I guess I'll have to look into it.

Truthfully, I hadn't even thought about it... Hmm. We avoid gluten and have a confirmed dairy rxn. Damn. Also, we avoid garlic & turmeric so I was always more worried about those cross-contaminations than non-spices. We buy our spices in bulk from Frontier at our co-op. AFAIK, we don't have a problem with them...

I use the Frontier spices as well (they're not irradiated) and hadn't thought about cross contamination. I don't think we've had any problems, but he still gets cranky for no reason sometimes (I'm thinking teeth), so who knows, eh? Maybe someone with better phone skills than I can call Frontier and find out?

The single spices by McCormick are supposed to be safe (not the blends, though).
