I've been sewing

I've made a couple things in the past day or so that I'd love to share. One is this super simple sweet sundress. It's from a new pattern made by sewingmama that she sales as a pdf. I've made dd a sundress and thought it would work well as a swimsuit coverup. I think it came out pretty well. I'm still learning to embroider properly, but I thought the design stitched out great and just says summer.
I also made her a sweet leotard for her dance class. She loves it, and I thought it was pretty straight forward even though the lastin was a bit fiddly. So, here you go.

I love, love, love the leotard!!! What fabric did you use? My 3 y/o is loving gymnastics and I think that could be adapted for her as well.

Hey Kari!
I think the fabric is prr, but I'm not 100% sure. I got it over a year ago from another SM and it was the coordinate to this birthday print fabric (I made dd a birthday outfit from that).

Those are wonderful!
My DS would love the train bag. Was it easy? He carries around his grandmas old purse filled with his favorite toys. The murse (male purse) is cute (and we get lots of giggles from adults) but I'd love to make him a back pack one of these days.

The pattern for the backpack is super easy. I had a link to the sewbaby site so you can see it. There's no zippers. I used my snap press for the closure, but you could easily use buttons or velcro. It's a very quick project, I cut it out and sewed it up in the same evening.
