Loose Adult Teeth

what can cause this?? (besides your little one throwing their head back during a fit and knocking your teeth!) I think they healed from that...but my front teeth are slightly loose again and I don't think I have any signs of gum disease (which I read are a common cause).

you may not have any visible signs of gum disease--if you have teeth that are loose you really should have them checked for "pockets" by your dentist. problems with occlusion (your bite) can also cause teeth to become looser than normal

I agree with the other poster. Please definitely go check with the dentist to see what may be the pb.
I waited on a tooth that had some sensitivity, thinking it wasn't much, but there was no pain. By the time I went to dentist, I had to have a root canal and then crown put on....it was not fun. And it was expensive too!

In teeth that have been traumatized the roots can resorb. The roots just dissolve. Go to the dentist!
