i've wanted a clothes line for a long time now. i am gettng one soon, but my mom told me that i shouldn't hang dd's clothes out, as she has outdoor allergies. what's your opinion on this.

If she's allergic to things like pollen, that would be a really bad idea. The pollen floats through the air and will land on the clothes, so then you would be putting pollen directly on her skin. Of course you could always look into which plants/trees are pollinating at what time of year, and just not hang her clothes out during that time.
