Are you dressed?

It's almost noon, and I'm in my shorts, bra, and robe. No shower yet. And I love it. How about you?

I wear pajamas every. single. day.

I'm a stickler about getting a shower and getting dressed. We're trapped in the house until I get an 8 passenger van next month and it makes me feel more human!

Well it's 5:49pm today and I'm still in my pjs. I see no point right now unless I'm going someplace

I'm dressed. I have an intense need to get out of the house every single day, so I always end up dressed. I can't say I look very nice though. I usually just wear some maternity shorts and a tshirt. No makeup, hair in ponytail.

Most days, nope. Sometimes I manage to haul on clothes in the late afternoon. Yesterday I actually got a shower in the morning, but that's cause DS1 has a stomach bug and wasn't hungry - therefore no rush to get downstairs for breakfast!

I've got on underwear and my maternity jeans. Does that count as dressed? I'm topless as much as possible (or in a bra, if I'm leaking) since it makes nursing easier, and my nipples are still a little sore (Is that normal at four weeks into nursing?).

I have managed to shower every single day for the last three weeks, though. It goes a long way in making me feel like a normal person.

You didn't say I had to look NICE! I'm wearing a maternity tank top, my 'fat' shorts, no makeup and hair up in a pony as well. I look like death warmed over but at least I'm dressed!

I'm usually dressed, but it might very well be the same clothes I wore the last three days, and they're probably covered in spit up, and if I'm lucky, pee and/or a smidge of poop. I shower maybe twice a week. Make-up maybe once a week (and by make-up I mean a dusting of powder and blush). Hair in pony tail at all times ...

Oh what a relief to read that other people don't look like supermodels yet.
My neighbour who is very sweet was back to a size 6 at 2 weeks pp and looked fabulous all the time. It has done nothing for my self esteem

i do get dressed everyday.. but i wear some variation of the same thing... this dress that i have in three colors that i think is meant to be a bathing suit cover up from the gap. it's easy access for nursing and if i put make up on and a pair of earrings (which i try to do most days)... it looks like a real outfit and it makes me feel put together and pretty

as for the showers, i have been getting one every couple days.. which i think is pretty good.

PJ's most every day here. I only get dressed if I am expecting company or if I am going out.

Oh yeah, definitely a pony tail over here too. Someone told me I should go get a nice haircut right before the baby came so I'd feel pretty afterward. I'm so glad I didn't! DS loves to grab my hair when I burp him-- pony tail is my only defense, and I would have lost it with the nice graduated bob I was going to get.

The baby and I prefer to be as naked as possible at all times. I wear underwear and he wears a diaper.

Definitely! But Sophie still manages to grab all the fine hairs at the nape of my neck and yank them out. Ouch!

I wish my hair was long enough for a ponytail. I've discovered that barely shoulder-length hair and baby don't mix. I end up with crusty spit-up in my hair at least once a day, and Sam loves to wrap his little fist all up in my hair and yank with all his might.

I and the kids have to be dressed all next week to take dd to vacation Bible school at church. If we make it all 5 days, it will be the first time since Sam was born that the three of us have been presentable more than 2 days in a row.
