Help me with my supplements

Ok... our situation is getting completely out of control... and we've given up on all medical professionals. DD seems to be getting better (slowly), but still hasn't gotten to baseline (with 6 months taking foods out of my diet). I think it's because my body seems to be reacting to more and more foods every day. If you've read my thread in H&H, you know how sick I've been lately. For the past 2 weeks, I can't keep anything in my system that isn't totally bland food- rice, bananas, chicken, and now waffles seem to be ok. But I am on the verge of collapse, and need to start eating more!! So I went to Super Supplements last night to start shopping... I'm going to get every supplement that I can possibly think of that might help me get my gut healed up.

So here's my list. Let me know if there's anything that I'm missing, or if I don't have the correct dosage listed, etc. Or if I can leave any of these out. I think I'm going to be taking about 1,000 pills a day...

What I'm already taking:
  • prenatal vitamin (Vinate, generic for Natelle- hoping that it's safe... pharmacist said he didn't see an allergens listed in ingredients)
  • TwinLabs Calcium Citrate caps + mag- 2 per day
  • Kirkman Multi-Enzyme Formula- 2 with every meal
  • Solgar Advanced Acidophilus Plus (has acidophilus & b. lactis)- 2 per day
  • Ascorbic Acid for Vit C- 1/4 t. per day, mixed with water; to flush toxins
What I just bought:
  • L-Glutamine powder- 1/4 t. 3x per day mixed into ____?, for gut healing
  • Quercetin/Nettle Plus- 3-6 tablets daily, for inflammation & inhibiting histamines (contains Vit C from magnesium ascorbate [says corn free], pantothenic acid, magnesium, quercetin, bromelain, stinging nettle leaf)
  • Magnesium Malate (malic acid)- as needed to neutralize food sensitivity reactions (according to Digestive Wellness)
  • psyllium husks- 1 T. 1-3x per day, for keeping disgestive track cleaned out and running smoothly
What I still need to buy (if/when I can find I can find an allergy-free version):
  • N-acetylglucosamine (NAG)- for 'promoting good flora and protecting against some microbes'
  • Black cumin seed oil- for eczema/allergies
  • Evening primrose oil- 1-2g 3x per day; for gamma-linolenic acid (GLA)- anti-inflammatory and benefits immune system.
  • S. buolardii (I did get some kombucha yesterday that has this in it... )
  • Oregon grape root- for anti-inflammatory/anti-bacterial purposes
I think that's it... I will update later if I forgot anything. I'm exhausted from typing that all out...

Oh- and I should probably mention that we can't do CLO- DD is seriously allergic to fish.

Looks good to me. But are those Twinlabs calcium caps really corn-free?

Yeah, they say common allergen-free including corn. But I just noticed that they're in a gelatin cap, not vegetable... so I might need to find a replacement for those anyway.

They sound okay to me. I was just wondering because I bought some Twinlabs calcium + vit d and didn't notice that they had actual corn starch in them. Fortunately I doublechecked before swallowing.

When I was unsure about fish for us, my ND recommended Algae Oil. She said it can be hard to find but that it's the next best thing if you can't have fish oil. I never got it because we are ok with fish but it might be helpful for you.

The rest of your list looks good to me. The only other thing I can think of is green powder - chlorella or spirulina. But if you aren't near baseline you might want to wait with that. We had an adjustment period with it. We use Vitamineral Green, but it has a lot of ingredients so it might not be best for you guys right now.

How is your dd doing? Other than the eczema does she still have symptoms? BTW I am still looking for the phone # for you of the woman (healer) I saw in Seattle. My step-mom is going to call me with it. The woman's name is Jackie Stratton, but I don't see any info about her on the internet.

Thanks- I will look into those.

DD is doing pretty good. She still has spots of eczema that get better and worse... Right now they're totally flared up because I've had some corn in my diet. But she's also teething and SUPER crabby. So it's hard to tell what all is from the allergies at the moment.

Right now it's me that's a mess... I can't eat anything!!! My whole digestive system has gone on strike.
