BathrobeGoddess wants a chat thread so here it is.

I'm 6 weeks on Tuesday and still no real symptoms. I can't be the only one that doesn't feel pregnant at all, right? It's really weird.

I, too, will be 6 weeks on Tuesday. So far my only consistent symptom has been exponential breast growth and soreness. Today I was feeling a tiny bit wonky, but I ate something and am now fine.

I do feel full quite often.

I'm right there with you. Six weeks today. I've had things that could possibly be interpreted as symptoms but they are so mild it's difficult not thinking it must be the heat or something else.

I'm just over five weeks, and sometimes I get the slightest bit of the queasies and nursing my son feels like cold burning fire most of the time, but otherwise nada.
I'm 5.5 weeks and have been mildly queasy for 3 weeks, but it's similar to what you get when you have sinus drainage queasiness. I'm a bit bloated as well, but not as much as I was at this time the last two pregnancies, which makes me wonder if I'm not quite as far along as I think I am... Can a late/long implantation affect your gestational age? I think baby didn't finish implanting until after AF was due (and I had a light, early AF that lasted 5 days, but it was brown, which is implantation usually). I got such a faint BFP when I was 1 day shy of 5 weeks, so it makes me think I'm not quite 5.5 weeks now, although by conception date, there's no way I could be any less far along because we didn't dtd since 5 days before ovulation, so I *know* ovulation wasn't any later.

My belly feels "weird"... pressure, dull crampiness. So I can tell most of the time from that that I'm pregnant. I like feeling these symptoms since I had such a weird AF and got the BFP so late. I know last time, my queasiness got serious around 8 weeks, so I'm just enjoying being able to eat stuff right now! Although this morning I didn't feel like anything sounded good, and it didn't help that our fridge went out. So I finished off the eggs we had in there, and then I chugged a glass of chocolate milk before leaving the house this morning, and that was a bad idea... on the way to church, I was feeling rather ill. I had DH find a peanut butter cracker in my purse, ate that, and it made me feel a bit better. Drinking too much without food in my stomach sets off the queasies, apparently. Noticed that at the gym when I drank 16oz of water during my workout, and when I got on the elliptical at the end, I had to get off and go hit the shower because I really felt like I might puke if I continued exercising. At least I'd already done the elliptical for 10 minutes at the beginning of my workout.

I'm 5wk 1day and have been amazingly tired the past week. I have had a nap almost every afternoon. I don't remember being this tired with the other two!
I also feel bloated--like a yucky feeling. No real nausea yet, and DH told me this morning my boobs are getting bigger
post #7 of 102
Hey Ladies,

I'm behind you in the time frame (just 5 weeks) but I definitely don't feel much of anything except tiredness. Yeah, my boobs are sore on an off but it's the tiredness that really gets me. (although i had some terrible insomnia one night this week)

Boscopup: yes, pat yourself on the back for making it to the gym. I am determined to go today, despite the lethargy and lack of caffeine in my life. While I'd like to blame my bloaty feeling on the preg, it's likely just because I've been lazy and not exercising consistently.

Kinda weird how I think I'd feel better if I was nauseous at least one, eh? Make it more real and all...
Hey Milli, I just realized that we're close in dates!

I won't pat myself on the back yet... The fatigue hasn't hit, so going to the gym isn't quite a big deal, but that will probably change in the next week or two!

Im right around 6 weeks (I think maybe Wed). No nausea, but definitely tiredness and frequently peeing
post #10 of 102
Also around 6 weeks. I have felt some nausea and have had some pretty strong cramping in the last 24 hours (which I also had with my first pregnancy, so I'm not worried!)

On another note, it is so hard not to tell people we are close to, so hard.

I am 7 weeks today

We have kind of told everyone at this point.
I found out today my sil is expecting her 4th so we get to be pregnant together, I am so excited about that.

I have had some nausea this week, but nothing eating small meals or taking a nap can't handle As for the frequent peeing I get up at 1 am every morning like clock work, and I pee who knows how many times during the day.

What do pregnant women DO at the gym? I only go for the sauna and then play around on an elliptical. Now that I can't go to the sauna, what else is good to do? What do you do? I don't want to waste my membership and I gain A LOT of weight during pregnancy. I'd really like to get into shape (if that's possible )

I'm right there with chaoticzenmom, what can you do at the gym. I guess what I'm trying to say is what should you do and don't do at the gym when you're pregnant. I too would love to continue going especially if it's going to do me some good.

Anyway I will also be six weeks on Tuesday. So far not much puking but a little queasiness in the morning. Heartburn with everything I eat, and heavy and sore boobs. I'm also craving tomatoes. I mean I even dreamt with them a couple times, however (sad to say), I saw in the news, there's been a link going on with tomatoes and salmonella. Unfortunately my state is part of the 17 states that got affected. I've heard that the cherry ones and the tomato in vines are okay, but I'm not taking my chances. So for now I just settle with jars of tomato sauce. I find myself putting it everywhere.

Yeah! Thaks DID!

I think I'm around 6 weeks...I got a BFP really early, CD 26 so I have no idea when I ovulated...I gestate long though so I will guess I'm due around mid feb...I already have my oldest dd in feb and my Dh in feb too! Good thing I'm a Libra!

I. am. so. tired.

I am so glad it summer so I'm not teaching, too! We haven't told anyone yet...I think we have a while before we are going to...

I am a total gym rat so I will do the elipitical until I am too big then the lounge seated bike. Labor is just so much easier when you stay active!

I'm 5 weeks along, and I don't feel a thing. Even when I'm not pregnant, I'm always tired and always hungry so it's hard for me to blame the pregnancy!

My DH is being extra attentive though--that's the best!

We bike everywhere rather than use a car, and I've been surprised that I haven't had to slow down yet--I still feel good, and I'm really trying to appreciate every minute of that! Morning sickness was hellish for me last time, so I'm kind of bracing myself for what's to come.

I woke up this morning feeling like I have been hit by a truck...ugh.

What can you do at the gym? Well, the guy that does workouts for us said that I can really do everything up until 6 months, and then he says it's best to avoid squats and such that could bring on labor (although I don't think squats will bring on labor... they'll encourage labor that's already happening, but I don't think they'll cause you to deliver at the gym ). He also said that at 6 months, he'd want the doctor to say what I could and couldn't do. But for now, he's setting up a workout program that focuses especially on strengthening my back and abs.

When I was at another gym years ago, there was an instructor that taught an abs class I went to often. She got pregnant and continued teaching the class, doing the exercises (killer abs exercises, I might add) all the way up until about 6 months, and then she modified things a bit so she wasn't laying on her back. But it was amazing what she could do while pregnant. I couldn't do what she did when I *wasn't* pregnant.

Pregnancy doesn't stop you from being able to workout. I'll be doing the elliptical and the weight machines as normal.

I'm so tired. My toddler doesn't nap anymore and last night my brain was so wound up I didn't get to sleep until after 1am.

But one good thing about my insomnia was I had an ah-ha! moment last night.

Thus far my calculations for what week I was in hadn't been matching up with the midwife's and I was confused. Last night I realized that being *in* week 5 did not mean I was 5 weeks pregnant. I'm 4 weeks, 6 days. That's why the calculations hadn't matched up before. I feel like such a doofus. I'd forgotten that it's how many weeks completed, not what week I'm in.

That's probably dumb, but between being really tired and already started to get stupid, I was proud of my realization moment and thought I'd share.

And my tummy's already swelling up. I'm a little scared it might be twins.

Anyone else worried about finances? I feel kind of guilty sometimes about how much I am eating and how expensive it is getting. I am just hungry ALL the time though. And pretty picky about what I eat.

Oh, and I feel guilty about not keeping on top of the chores as well as I was before . . . I feel ashamed about what a mess the apartment is right now.

HOW do I lose the GUILT? Gee whiz . . .

Luckily my dh is being just great, though.

I am 6 weeks and started feeling really nauseous a couple days ago. I am having MEGA food aversion problems! Dang, I really thought I'd get off easy with the sickness this time
I am also feeling a tired easier and my nipples still KILL when DD nurses.

I am hoping to keep up with exercising -we love to go for an hour long walk or bike everyday!
