The backpack is special request from my train loving ds. He's quite pleased with it and therefore so am I. Very easy sew baby pattern that's one of my favorites.
The dress is one I've wanted to make for awhile, but just hadn't found the perfect fabric combo's. I'm pleased with the choice I finally made. It's the festival line from chez ami, I think it's about a year or so old, but I couldn't figure out what to use it for until I decided to make this dress. It's a departure from my usual more traditional sewing efforts. But, hey a girl's got to try new things.
