I bought some piima culture starter, and left it out too long so it overfermented. The woman I bought it from told me to try to use the overfermented stuff to get a new seed going, by adding more boiled and cooled milk... will this actually rescue my seed, or should I just give up and get a new culture? I am inclined to just give up on piima and buy buttermilk culture because it's cheaper (although I do like the fact that piima cultures at a lower temperature).
