Best way to educate/change behavior?

So I've spent my first 2 years as a parent searching for others who parent like me - a difficult search.

Now I feel the need to educate others (more than I do in my day-to-day life) to try to change how things are.

Better birth experiences, more bonded moms & newborns, breastfeeding, attachment parenting, loving, respectful parenting... lots of issues on my mind.

What do you think is the best way to do it?
Start a blog/website and offer info
Make up little cards with info & links and hand them out to people
attend more "issues"-oriented mom/baby groups
offer classes in parenting basics
other thoughts?

i just want to start a dialogue about how to go about this, and i'd love to hear how YOU've made changes in your local or not-so-local communities. I'm very non-confrontational, so I can't do like one of my good friends and just speak my mind to random strangers on the street

I am interested in the same

I agree with you. I often think how it could be possible to share these ideas but I don't have a lot of ideas. I am for getting the junk out of vaccines and giving parents a choice on vaccination. I am pro breasefeeding, co sleeping, organic eating, non TV or limited T. V . for babies and children, pro healthy living. I know it might sound way out there but church sales are a big thing here. Certain churches sell consigned clothes and moms just flock to them. I think these places would be the perfect place for flyers to be put on cars or something. I am just concerned how it all looks. I would hate for friends to see me dashing around and placing flyers on cars or something.
