I was off looking for some sort of sunscreen for our family today when I noticed that all the screens available to me locally (I live in Canada) but one contained Titanium Dioxide. The one that didn't was Badger, which I've read good things about on another thread, unfortunately Badger contains citrus fruit and dd1 is very sensitive to citrus so I can't us it on her.
The woman who owns the store mentioned that wheat germ oil makes a good natural sun blocker. Have any of you heard of this? Better yet do any of you have first hand experience using it for this purpose?
I've been searching the internet but can't find anything linking wheat germ oil to sun protection. Maybe I'm using the wrong key words
I'm thinking of trying it but I don't want to send my kids out to get burnt to a crisp just to test it out.
