Hey welcome!1

and like we always say around the IF forum, hope your stay is short

I am on day 8 of bcps and not looking forward to the synarel, which I will start on day 14. I just looked them both up and it looks like synarel nose spray and lupron do the same thing, shut down your pituitary gland/suppression. Have to say, I have used it twice before and it made me so cranky and weird feeling. If you have no experience with it, get ready and make sure you have self care plan ladies! My dh is nervous already (I used it for my first IVF and then again for our FET, the second time, after a doozy of a fight he said "oh, I remember
this month"). He's preparing himself for crazy cranky lady.
And I'm gonna say it again, because it's one of those things that no one warns you about but when it happens they say "oh that's common"..... watch out for constipation!!!!!!!!!!!! Any sort of messing with my hormones makes me constipated (and I eat whole grains, lots of fruit and water). The first time I went through IVF I didn't really notice or worry about it and it got
really bad. I had no idea constipation could be that serious. Keep on eye on things and talk to your clinic about what you can take if you have to (or just completely gorge on fresh fruit like I plan to and eat lots of steamed broccoli like my acu suggested). Okay, end of TMI.
How's everyone else doing?
