Family Guy

I have always loved how pro-breastfeeding Family Guy seems (even though Lois is always trying to wean Stuie), but I am cracking up at the episode I just watched with Peter wearing Stuie in a carrier.

He looked like he was velcroed to Peter's stomach. LOL

My family LOVES Family Guy. Seth McFarlane is so snarky and smart. Everytime there is a parenting/AP theme or comment the kids mention it to me

I love Family Guy, although I thought the earlier episodes were funnier then the current ones.

Yes, I totally agree about the stealth AP thing going on! Although I also totally agree that the more recent episodes aren't as...something. Or maybe too much something else. They go too far in ways that aren't as clever -- just violent.

Still love all the breastfeeding stuff in there, though!

There was an entire episode dedicated to it! Lois was trying to stop the breastfeeding but she loved the bonding so decided not to end it! That episode was hilarious! there was also one when Peter wanted to see what it was like to breastfeed and I think he may have scared Stewie for life! Love love love this show!

I hated Family Guy, but Dh watches it all the time. I'm starting to warm up to it since they're so pronursing. Also, once they tried cry it out with Stewie and decided that's not the way to go. I have to say I was impressed lol.

Did Stewie have a vax reaction?! I missed the beginning of it, but when I came in they were giving him something for the fever and he was asking Brian what was in the needle. He started hallucinating. Too funny!

Then they showed a flashback of that gross Quagmire guy as a baby of a single mom, and when she went to BF him, he was like, "yes!" Kinda yucky...

Also, in the beginning of the series, Stewie was cloth-diapered. : I think they show him in sposies a lot more nowadays, though.

I love this show. i'm 36 and the creator is a year older so that may be why: I get the references and inside jokes. stewie does breastfeed and hates formula. i would never let my kids watch this. tjey wouldn't understand the humor and it is violent and too rawly sexual.

I read that its on a break for a little bit longer. Meanwhile, I am not even that far yet- I have bought disk sets 2-5 and am still enjoying them. Oh the one from season 5 called "Airport 07"- have you seen that one? There is a scene where Peter gets out of a car half naked. I didn't know about this episode of course, until I saw it on Saturday- and they didn't edit the Dvd! Quite a shock, and I don't shock easily.
