Cow's milk! Even my friends who DID wean their babies at that age wouldn't THINK to give them cow's milk! : I think they usually wait til the baby is one-year-old. Oh yeah, I went to UC Davis, big ag college. There was a dairy farm on campus, right next to my dorms. I would go at night to visit the baby cows (taken away from mom and lived in little pens.) They would suck on your hands and loved to be massaged (poor babies). Anyways, I had a friend who worked at the dairy and she told how one of their chores was mixing the formula for the baby cows. I said, "Formula! Why don't you just give them the milk that you're taking out of the moms." She said, "They get dehydrated from it... you have to give them formula."

Wed, 10 am, Splash Park... got it.

Oh no! I'm pretty sure I'll be there, but it may be a little after 10. Carter slept a little later than usual this morning so his first morning nap may go into 10, and I have to run a couple of errands on our way there. But hopefully we'll make it!!!

our schedule is a bit out of whack as well. playing it by ear, as usual, lol. though i would really like to get to that dang edith ball pool once more before "fall".... not sure if their hours change? it sure would be hard for them to get worse...

Sorry I just kind of ran off, OliveJewel! I felt guilty for not saying goodbye. I was having weird blood sugar issues, or so I thought, but I think it was just me feeling horrible due to a breast infection because it just got worse and worse. I wanted to get dd home before she turned non-compliant. It was nice to see you and Sarah again! Anyway, when are we meeting next? I've never been to the edith ball pool. What's it like?

we would love to do something thurs, friday or saturday....

sorry we didnt make it mommas! we had an *early* nap, gasp-- considering we didnt nap til 6pm last night....

edith ball is the covored pool across from the zoo. it rocks. it has water spraying things and a water... heck, like a laxy river, only you walk, not float... kwim? anyhow. let's plan it. somewhere in this thread i listed out all their crappy times.... let's try and plan it soon!

park tomorrow would rock.... but knowing you and knowing me, by early we mean different things..... what park is easy for you? i'm guessing you dont wanna come all the way out here and do himmel again?

oh, and.... oktoberfest starts this weekend! huzzah!
: (really, there ought to be a beer drinking dancing guy....)

i was actually thinking conner park (i love shade) at like 8-ish?

I got up early today with dh and the weather was b-e-a-u tiful.

Id definitely like to hang out a blanket and NOT sweat

i could do himmel- its just not as shady & breezy... or as fenced off as conner park....
