I think I'll take a rain check (literally) on all activities til next week, too. Husband not so interested in friday night bbq, but it would probably be rained out anyway, getting difficult to coordinate niece activities into it all.... But I REALLY REALLY REALLY look fwd to seeing you all again. Soon, very soon, we will be HOT HOT HOT and VERY DRY again. I'll try to enjoy the monsoonness, humidity and all.

lol, everything went well. I started having contractions at about 3 and went into active labor a couple hours later. Long enough to go get my husband from work and bring him home with me! I didn't really progress much until my water broke a few hours later and then it was almost like one constant contraction. It was very intense and fast after that. It also took some work pushing him out as he had his arm up over his head and then his shoulder got stuck. Lisa told me he's the biggest baby I could have made! Aurin Sebastian was born at 11:47pm on the 5th, weighing 8 lbs. and 20 inches long. I am SO glad that's over! It wasn't as enjoyable as my dd's labor but at least it was fast and everything worked out so well. My mil took charge of dd, which was perfect as she didn't even mind not being with us, and she woke back up just in time to see him come out. We lucked out because it was her last day in town. I don't know what we would have done without her!
Anyway, hope to get together again soon.

ok, totally missed that was you, jen! love the new name!

everyone ok after that wild storm??? freaky. dh got stuck out in it.

how about splash park sometime soon?
The splash park sounds fun.
My dh almost got stuck out there too. It set the alarm off at our store so he had to go check it out and almost couldn't make it back, just a block away from home! Crazy.

It was a wild storm. A lot was knocked over/down - my friend who lives on river and Swan had an ancient mesquite fall over.

i've been out of commission - got colds, started prescool, colds got worse... going to list house for sale and prepping for that. Would still love to see you all though. Perhaps early wed fri? won't have my big little guy though.
