I am so bummed! I was expecting it to be on this fall... I don't want to wait until January. But at least it will be back. I don't want them to fast forward in time but I would think they would almost have two, with so long in between seasons. It wouldn't matter for the older kids as much but the little boys will have grown a ton since last season.

Wow, that should be interesting. It seemed like last season Margene's pregnancy was going infinitesimally slowly, which is unusual for tv!

I hope not! It seems like they left so many stories hanging in the season finale- I wouldn't want just a quick update on what has happened the last few years. Especially with the story about Albie and Roman...

I cancelled cable, and we've been tv free for months. Now I'm seriously considering getting it back for this show. It's the only show I've ever watched regularly with dh. TV just may make a comeback to our house.

It's moving in real time, so I think it's been about 1 1/2 years since the end of season 2. Is that right? At any rate, it's been the same amount of time for the characters as for the real world.

Yeah, but with a cast with so many young children, what else could you do? You'd have to get new actors for all the kids but Ben and Sarah. We probably wouldn't notice with the babies, but it's be really strange with the rest.
