I'm so tired of eating

I have felt like this for a few days. Nothing tastes good unless it's junk food of course but I'm trying to steer clear since that's not really good fuel for birthing. I manage to get a cashew milk shake (20 g protein) down and bites of meals but, otherwise, I'm done. It's partly b/c I feel full and partly b/c the heartburn is relentless! There's really nothing to be done. I just find that hrs. have passed and I haven't eaten. Then I don't feel good. A little woozy.

Ah, poor me I don't remember this lack of appetite feeling before.

I know how you feel. I'm just too tired to make healthy food for myself right now. And I've got the heartburn thing going full force too! I imagine if I eat better, the heartburn will probably lessen. Today I bought a bunch of fresh fruit and veggies and cheese and have been nibbling away at bits all afternoon. Feels better than eating full meals and is much more healthy than some of the cookies I've been downing lately!

Last pregnancy I also recall eating tons of food at this point. Funny how different things can be!

I'm having the same problem. All I want is cookies and crappy cereal. I've avoided the cookies, but I'm sure I'll cave at some point, especially the more anxious and uncomfortable I feel. I got some good cereal and I'm eating that. I don't have any desire to eat "real" food.

oh, the heartburn! I hear you, ladies!

I've had it since day one this pg, and I'm about done w/ it. I don't want anything but junk, which I know is not good, but nothing else appeals. It doesn't matter what i eat or don't eat, I will have heartburn at random times throughout the day. It only seems to worsen if I've put off eating for a really long time.

only a couple more weeks. Then it will be gone, right?

Heartburn for me is only when I eat fruit and sugar at the same time... otherwise I can avoid it. I wonder if you would find the same thing? (Citric acid is fruit and of course you know the types of sugar).

I'm sick of cooking food... but I'd love someone to MAKE me food... then I'd eat it.

Right there with you!!!

i get heartburn a lot - not this week, but prior to that it was really bad. i took a LOT of papaya tablets but finally gave up and started taking a gaviscon max in the evening - bliss!

just eating little bits is much more comfy with an already-'full'-tummy!

I'm so with you—I'm even burned out on my fallback (chocolate ice cream). How sad is that?

Major heartburn here, too. I have also been craving (and indulging in) junk food. I thought maybe I was carbo loading in preparation for labor. Yeah, right!

Not too much heartburn here, but I don't feel like cooking or eating much. Though, I can't get enough of cold, wet/juicy food. I've been snacking on melons, and adding loads of ice to my water and tea. Salads have been great too, but I need to force myself to eat protein with them.

And yes, the occasional sweet has been more than occasional this whole pregnancy!!
