I still can't feel when I have to pee. Anyone else? Prolapsed bladder possibly?

Baby still has no name It's so hard with her. She has gained 11 ounces in two weeks, though. So I'm happy about that.

She sleeps from 1am to 10am and wakes up once around 6 for a feed,.... So, I'm happy about that too!!!

I'm tired ALL the time though. I've been taking naps and she's obviusly sleeping good and I just can't figure out why I'm so tired!

Anyways, how is everyone else?

I can't feel when I have to pee either....can't pee, can't poop and my pelvis still hurts.
Bebe is good though. I have lots of milk and he is an awesome nurser. He was 7"5 last Tuesday and 8"1 this Tuesday. 12 oz in one week!
We are co sleeping which is working ok for now....I would really like to get him into the side carred crib. For now, he will sleep on his own during the day, but come night he wants to sleep with his head on my boob.

We're on day 5 today and things are going great. My milk was in a mere 36 hours after I had Claire! Her weight was up to 8#2 at her 2-day weigh-in (from a low of 8#1.5 oz at 1 day) - pretty impressive!! I think she's going to be a nice chubby baby.

Still working out the sleeping arrangements - she wants nothing to do with our co-sleeper but is happy to sleep on our bed - even not touching me. I think maybe she just likes the softer mattress? Going to try putting a softer blanket on top of the co-sleeper mattress to see whether that makes her a little happier.

Every day her schedule gets a little more regular. I think she's been having some trouble latching on my left side (my son never liked that side either) but once I switched her to a football hold she drained it a lot better and so she's been eating larger and less frequent meals now. Sometimes 3-4 hours at a pop!!

It's amazing - she just seems like a much more robust baby than James ever did. It's probably partly that she's 1 lb bigger and 2 weeks later at birth, partly that she was born vaginally (!!!!!) so her lungs aren't full of crud, and partly that I know what I'm doing. Makes a huge difference.

It is probably the smell. Try putting one of your shirts under her. DD likes our bed better too, but is fine in the side carred crib because it smells like me.

I keep trying the bed, but unless she has my breast as a pillow, it won't work! She also loves the sling with dh, but doesn't mind me wearing her, although I do usually nurse her.
Have you tried putting her on her belly? DD won't sleep more than 5 minutes on her back, but hours on her belly. Depends on your feelings of SIDS, but I don't really buy back-to-sleep.

Wow I tried this last night and it worked like a charm - thanks Karen! Claire slept straight through in her co-sleeper until 2 AM when I woke her up to nurse because my boob was going to explode. Then slept straight through until I woke up in the morning.

I've *never* had a newborn sleep as well as she does (ok, so sample size is only n=1, but still... it's wonderful).

Oh, yes, she will only sleep on her tummy for long periods! She's doing better. Had a 45 minute nap and a 2 hour nap in bed yesterday (granted the 2 hour one was with me, but still). Sleeping 3-4 hour chunks at night in bed.

nak...
Thanks for the advice Kylaroo!
What pouch and what wrap do you have?
I have a moby wrap, hotsling pouch, and kk adjustable fleece pouch
I tried the tummy to tummy position and it worked!!! : I do wish there was an even more inconspicuous way - for when I'm out and about, also, if DS falls asleep TtT, is there an easy way to keep him in the sling (since his head is out?)

In general, things are going really well all around - It's so interesting to watch dd become a big sister! It makes me want to have more babies!

Well, once baby is done nursing and is asleep, I just center her head between my breasts and use the outer fabric of the pouch (the fabric coming down from my shoulder) to support the back of her head. Completely hands-free!
