I agree. I like their info, and have found it invaluable but their information on feeding infants is horrendous and it is also a slap in the face to the concept of traditional foods. The poor breastfeeding advice, the early introduction of solids etc. are extremely off-base and not founded on either good science or the practices of traditional societies.

My thinking is that WAPF has a LOT to offer to pregnant and breastfeeding moms, but they really have their heads up their bums when it comes to bfing and a few other subjects. I don't know if it's even worth it, but I've met Sally and she seems like a smart, open person. If only Price recorded what his subjects were doing wrt infant feeding!!!!!

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this issue.

Thanks!
Sally is sadly blind and stubborn on this issue. I have tried to educate her about it, but what can you say. She had trouble breastfeeding and has that chip some women get when it didn't work for them, in my opinion. She lists LLL as a bad organization because of their nutritional advice that doesn't jive with hers. And LLL has done nothing but encourage women to eat whole foods and nurse babies. I learned about raw dairy and TF eating FROM a LLL leader.

Count me in on a letter campaign, etc! I'd love to show her that not everything she thinks is gospel...
