Bamboo fooring from iFloor? Dogs?

Does anyone have bamboo floors from iFloor? good, bad? We have looked into purchasing some vertical grain, natural, bamboo from them. Our other option was from SimpleFloors.
I have been reading so many mixed reviews of bamboo floors and dogs. Ours are 50 lbs, 2 of them, we also have 2 cats. The key is to keep their nails trimmed? And to stay away from the carbonized kind bc it's softer. I had my heart set on it and now I am having second thoughts. Any advice?
BTW it will be our living room and dining room that are connected, ~400sqft

I know a couple of people who installed bamboo when it first became really available a few years ago. One person still loves it but the other 2 don't like how it is holding up.

Some of the environmental aspects of bamboo are not that straightforward either. Check out this article if you are interested: http://www.slate.com/id/2193239/

From what I understand, the strandwoven bamboo is much more durable than the standard variety. And like the pp mentioned, carbonized doesn't hold up as well.

No experience with bamboo, but we have wood floors and a dog. We trim the dog's nails at least once a week - or as soon as I can easily hear him clickity-clacking across the floor.

we installed carbonized bamboo in our upstairs about a year ago. We have a 75 lb dog. It is pretty soft, and is somewhat scratched already. that doesnt bother me though, it just makes our house look "well lived in". I am interested to see how well it holds up in the future.

Well I've been looking around some more and have found that the "strand" type of bamboo flooring is more durable (as pp said) than the standard bamboo flooring that I was originally looking at. I checked at the Simple Floors place and they have it at a price in our budget and I've talked dh into it. He was hoping we could get a lighter shade as with the other stuff we were looking at, but this type is so much more durable. I ordered some samples and we are probably going to order soon after they arrive (assuming we like it). We are planning on selling the house in 4 years or so, so I am also looking at a resale value as well. Then we can find out if bamboo is something we would want to do in our next house (hopefully a more permenant one). I will update after installation. It's exciting to think we will not have a nasty plywood floor anymore
