Mainstream kids need more vit D

My MIL sent this to me. I replied that we take CLO. I think she thinks that's akin to child abuse that I give it to DD.

my kids love vit d capsules. They beg for them everyday and think they are candy!

the paranoia regarding sunblock does not help the situation. even if the kid is outside all day, they might not get any vit D!

The video with the article said 'breast milk doesn't contain vitamin D'. Not that 'it's been found be low in it,' but that it doesn't contain ANY at all....Is that really true? I would think that if a nursing mother had lots of vit D in her diet, she would therefore have a good amount of it in her milk.

AFAIK, this is totally untrue. What is true is that most Americans do not get adequate D in their diets or lifestyle and thus our milk is deficient in it. I HATE it when articles get this kind of stuff wrong.
