PUL Wet Bags leaking at seams - any advice?

Hi -

This is my first time posting, although I've been enjoying reading. I just made 2 medium size wet bags using this tutorial:

It turned out great, except it leaks! It seems to be leaking on the side seams. I have put it in the drier on high. Any ideas how to fix it? Because its PUL, I'm afraid to go ripping it out, but I'm really frustrated that I bought zippers and fabric and now have a leaky bag Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

You didn't use cotton thread did you? That was my mistake when I made diaper covers, and they leaked at the seams.

I've heard of people having this problem, so I will only use polyester thread when sewing anything diaper related.
