Oh wow, this looks good.

The Women

I checked, and there isn't one man listed in the cast. Doesn't mean there aren't any. But wow! What a cast!

OMG, I can't believe they're remaking this!!!!!!!!!! Please, please, PUH-LEAZE see the original first! It is such an awesome movie, seriously. It's hilarious and an awesome all-female cast. The fashion show in the middle is worth the price of the rental alone, I promise!

Like most remakes, I'm a little skeptical of the new one. Seriously Hollywood, aren't there any NEW movies to be made?!? And the fact that Meg Ryan is headlining makes me want to weep.

That said, I'll probably see this one, mostly to see how it compares with the original. See it!!!!

ITA on both counts! I doubt I'll see the remake, though.

disappointing

horrible, terrible movie. maybe because it was a remake? i didn't know that, but i can see that could be why, they didn't translate it well.

i came on just to search about this movie. i felt that a few of the messages, well, the whole overlying theme/philosophy made me wanna puke. and it was not entertaining. it drug on badly in parts. i like a quiet movie, but this was just boring. i think it meant to be introspective in parts for meg ryan's character, but it failed. i am really disappointed. i expected so much more.

I really liked this movie. The women cracked me up. I plan on buying the dvd tomorrow when it comes out! I usually don't watch a movie for deep, dark meanings - I just like to be entertained.

It's in my Netflix queue. The review I read said with a cast of talented women like that it should have been much better.
