Circumcision in popular media.

I've noticed a lot of references to circumcision on TV in other threads. Does anybody here have connections to film or TV industries already? How about becoming an advocate and raising awareness of circumcision "mentions" in the popular media? The goal would be to awaken people to the fact that everything they "know" about circumcision comes from entertainment, rather than educational sources.

Uh...is this really true? Granted, I doubt most folks' knowledge about circumcision comes from educational sources, but enteratinment? Really?

I think circs happen mostly because that's the standard with which most people who were raised in the U.S. are familiar. But hey, if anyone knows of any studies to the contrary, please post away!
