Really scary

I just lurk on here once in a while, trying to make the final plung not to vac. But I wanted to say that my older brother (in his 30s) had to get a Small Pox vac in the military. Afterward he couldn't stand and had to visit the ER after getting it. It was really scary for all of us.

I'm so sorry to hear this, I hope he is okay. My husband served in the Navy for 10-years and I know that they do whatever they want. I hated that, they basically treat them all like sheep. :

Yep. I was in the army for six years and I felt like I was treated as their "Grade A Beef". It sucks not having any choice at all.

When I was getting processed for entry into basic training, they had us all line up and we got lots and LOTS of shots, didn't even know what they were! They do treat you like a piece of meat in the service. No rights either.

Oh that's really unnerving. My brother recently joined the Marines and may be shipped out next month. I hope he doesn't sick from the vaxes he has to get.
