Green Works By Clorox?

OK, so since I am new to this green/natural cleaning thing I need to know...

How safe for cleaning around kids is the Green Works Natural Cleaners?

If you need to check the ingredients here is the website - http://www.clorox.com/products/overview.php?prod_id=gw

Thanks so much for your help!

PS- If this product isn't safe for kids, how about the Seventh Generation line?

I won't use Clorox products because they test on animals.

Seventh Generation is a very respectable company. If you sign up at their website they will give you coupons too.

I was not aware of this. How safe is Ecover? I ordered their toilet bowl cleaner and dish soap. What about Method? I have the all purpose cleaner. I think I will switch to 7th Generation after I've used up all my other cleaners. :

i didn't know clorox tested on animals! :

i use some method products and 7th gen. method isn't the best either. after i use up all my products i'm switching to vinegar.

I'm not a big fan of Method. I had a few of their products and they never really worked. Plus, their ingredient list is a bit "sketchy." They're all fancy bottles without anything to back it up.
Chlorox is jumping on a trend right now. The company as a whole tests on animals and does other things that aren't so friendly to the Earth. That being said, a friend gave me a bottle to try when we moved into our apartment. It's the anti-mildew stuff. It doesn't do crap. Completely worthless product from a company that's no friend to the Earth.
I don't know much about the Ecover company, but I do use their dishsoap and I like it.
I now make most of my own cleaners, with the exception of dishsoap.

I really like 7th generation and I love Ecover's surface/glass cleaner. I also use vinegar for my floors.

check EWG.org to see what they say...be prepared for a rude awakening on a lot of things...

by the way, just because they greenwash it, "don't" mean it's green! if they won't list the ingredients then walk away. Be careful of fragranced products. And, most of the big companies liks SC Johnson..not very nice to the environment even if they do advertise on teh new Green Network...
