When your man loves your knitted gift, you know you're on to something...

OK, ladies, you know how often we're scratching our heads to knit something for the men in our lives who would be happy sitting around in their socks and underwear watching TV or reading most of the day? I finally stopped resisting and knit him...socks.

But! We both loved them. I loved them because, well, I love Peace Fleece, they knit up super quick at 5 stitches to the inch, and socks are crazy fun. He loved them because they're way comfortable, they fit exactly, they're toasty, sturdy, and very useful.

They have risen to the very top of my what-to-make-a-man gift list. Seriously, he's getting a pair a year for whatever occasion happens to be close enough to accommodate!

Here they are on Ravelry...

I love PF socks. I have done them in worsted and I now have a bunch of DK for another pair. Yum!

Wonderful! That is why I learnt to knit, too, the having-fun-making-something-practical thing. What a pleasure, to give your honey something warm and useful from your own hands.
PF socks are on my queue, too....

I saw those on Ravelry this morning and was admiring them! I love the look of PF for simple knits.

Thanks, mamas! I've already cast on a pair in PF Sheplova Mushroom for the wee boy, who also would be happy going all day in skivvies.
