what do you use to wash your body?

I have dry sensitive skin. I have never found anything that I have liked for a body soap. As a kid I used Ivory, it didn't make me break out in a rash, but I was itchy from the dry skin it gave me. I used Dr B's castille and it dries me as well. I have been using Dove unscented because that is what the dr recommended for my baby with similar skin issues (and eczema as well). I don't like using products from big commercial brands, but I didn't know what else to use. Oh, so the Dove I am using now, doesn't dry my skin but gives me a rash when it is hot.

So, I am looking for something that won't dry my skin or make me rashy. I don't have time to shower *and* moisturize, so I need something that won't dry my skin. Thanks for any suggestions!

have you tried the Kiss My Face olive oil bars? i have one that is olive oil and honey and it is moisturizes really well. i also loved the Fiji coconut pineapple soap bars, but for some reason my local HFS stopped carrying them which is when i switched to the Kiss My Face bar. i usually use Dr. B's, but i keep that around for times when i want extra moisture like if i've been in the pool a lot or in the dead of winter when my skin gets dry.

Water and a washcloth.

Then I moisturize with a mixture of rose oil and grapeseed oil.

I have recently found a goat milk soap bars and they are absolutely fantastic on my VERY VERY dry hands. My hands used to get so bad I my skin was cracked/bleeding on my knuckles and around fingernails and lotions did not make much difference but now my hands are in heaven (and the rest of my body too!) I am not good at posting links but here is the web address you can copy/paste. Maybe you can find something similar closer to home.

Have you tried handmade soaps? They are usually full of yummy, natural stuff without all those drying ingredients that commercial bars have. They last forever, too.

I use a mild vegetable soap for stinky areas.

Anything else is just water and a rag.

I like the Big Kiss bar from Kiss My Face. They're made from palm oil. I also like Now's body wash.

Not natural at all, but I use Cetaphil antibacterial bar soap. I've stopped using deodorant for allergy reasons and I need a more serious soap to make this doable. I do love the Cetaphil though and it was recommended to me by my dermatologist.

I use this :
www.MayFlowersNaturals.com

She's a small company right now and makes everything herself. It's 100% natural stuff. But what I love about it is that it is made with honey and after reading on here again and again about the properties of honey I had to try it. So I did and I LOVE it. Such good stuff. I believe honey works well with any type of skin and is very nourishing to it. Anyways, I was really excited about it b/c I found a honey cleanser therefore I didn't have to make one myself which I was too lazy to do. The cleanser is for face and body. I use it for both. You can even wash your hair with it which I do occasionally but I don't love it for my hair. I do for my face and body though.
I noticed that she has a discount going on right now. I think it's 20%, which is great b/c her prices are already really good.
Anyways, maybe this would work?

I use these products that are completely free of chemicals, pricey but well worth it and a little goes a long way.

Water and a bamboo bath mitt. Then I use Hugo lotion mixed with coconut oil to make it last longer. That lotion is not cheap.

Honestly, if you have dry, dry skin it may be in your best interest to NOT use any soap/product to wash.

Gels are more gentle than soaps. Soaps must have a high ph to turn into soap. Check out CosmeticsCop.com for an explanation of what each and every cosmetic ingredient is, and how irritating it is, too. I am using Pure and Basic shower gel, and it's really nice. On my face I only use Cetaphil. It is the most gentle cleanser available, and the store brands are usually about $4-5 for a 16 oz bottle.

Someone else suggested goat's milk soap... I suggest that or a lanolin soap.
