ISO quilt block patterns/ideas

I really want to make a quilted wall hanging out of fabric that my sister-in-law gave me. The fabric belonged to my mother-in-law who just passed away. It was fabric left over from her making shirts for herself for the rodeo, which she was a big part of. I would really like to make something that has a ranch/rodeo theme that is not too difficult as I am a novice seamstress. I just have no clue when it comes to designing my own quilt blocks, but could follow a pattern, so I am in need of a good resource for themed quilt blocks.

Thank you!

I perfer nine-patch, but that's just me.

I've heard this place has rodeo-themed patterns: http://www.CabbageRoseQuilting.com

Good luck!

thank you! The site was very helpful. In fact, it had the perfect block. Now to see if I can do it!

WOW! Thank you PumpkinSeed! That link is great. Too good, I found more quilts I want than I can make in my lifetime.
