Officer breast-feeds quake orphans

I'm not sure if anyone else read this, but it almost brought me to tears. After responding to the earthquake in May, a female Chinese police office nursed up to 9 babies while they were separated from there mommas in the aftermath of the quake. What a beautiful and uplifting story!

thank you for sharing. I've had dreams of nursing other people's babies in emergency situations...It' so good to see such a compassionate response in real life.

Oh my gosh- me TOO! It seems only natural I guess. In fact I would have no problem BF someone else's LO. My sis nursed my daughter from 6 mo -12 mo when I was working, to this day they have a very special bond. I tried nursing my niece but she wanted no part of it!:
