It's small right now, her gums are not red but she has a small boil over top of a dead tooth. (She hit the tooth and it turned gray). I was hoping this tooth would fall out soon - she's almost 5 and my other daughter started losing teeth around this time.
I can't get her into the pediatric dentist anytime soon, and her regular dentist wants to do surgery with ga to fix her teeth (which is why we were waiting - i was hoping they would just fall out). These are her front top teeth, not molars... it seems as though it would be quick and easy to just pull them one at a time.
What can I do to fix this? We are using MI paste once a day, "regular" toothpaste once a day, and the Dr. Collins Remineralizing toothpaste once a day (she also has problems with enamel, thanks to my genes). I'm SO upset over this. I feel like it's totally my fault, although I'm doing everything I know of to prevent things like this.
I'm going to take her to the urgent care for antibiotics later today, but I'm afraid it will come back before we're able to get into a dentist.
